Colour for Therapy

There is nothing like re-living your youth. And that includes all the fun things you liked to do as a child. And the first thing that comes to mind is colouring in.

I love to colour in. I have so many adult colouring in books that I cannot choose which one to colour! I have a variety from fairy tale themed books to nature and animal, to culturally themed to patterns such as mandalas.

Focussing on colouring will put your mind elsewhere, give you opportunities to make decisions for yourself (which colour next – and where?) and can help calm you.

As you work on the page, you begin to feel a sense of accomplishment that perhaps you haven’t felt for a while.
